JUST A MOMENT: THE GARDEN IN US

There is a garden in every one of us.

Sometimes it is beautifully tended. Other times, life gets busy, and we forget to water what matters, nurture what is growing, or pull the weeds that have quietly taken root.

And then there is pruning.

We don’t always like pruning. Letting go rarely feels like growth while we’re doing it. Yet sometimes what needs to be removed is precisely what is keeping something new from blooming.

But here’s the wonder:

Not everything growing in our garden was planted by us.

Some things simply appeared—unexpected gifts, quiet strengths, new possibilities, a kindness we didn’t know we possessed, a hope we thought we had lost.

They were there all along.

Perhaps we just needed to stop long enough to notice.

So, just for a moment today, wander through the garden within you.

Notice what is blooming.

Tend to what is struggling.

Prune what no longer belongs.

And don’t overlook the unexpected.

Because there may be something beautiful growing in you that you never planted—and someone else may need the shade, the fragrance, or the bloom that only you can offer.

Just a moment. Tend your garden. Something beautiful may be waiting to bloom.
