JUST A MOMENT: THE DECONSTRUCTION ZONE

Before there can be a construction zone, there often has to be a deconstruction zone.
We’re always looking forward to adding something new—new strength, new purpose, new possibilities.
But first, something has to come down.
Old habits.
Old hurts.
Old assumptions.
Old ways of seeing ourselves and others.
Even on a cellular level, our bodies are constantly letting go before they can rebuild.
Maybe that’s what this season is about.
Not everything being taken away is a loss.
Some things have to be removed before they can be replaced.
So if your life feels a little like a construction zone today, don’t panic.
Maybe the demolition is actually part of the design.
Before there’s something new in us, a deconstruction, a clearing, may first need to happen to make room. . .So maybe what feels like losing something isn’t the end of the story.
Maybe it’s making a space, a room of NEWNESS that can’t bear the burden of your old structure?
Because sometimes we don’t need something built into us as much as something cleared away from us first; a something waiting to be into us.
Pssssssssssst: D
Don’t fear the demolition.
It may be the beginning of the construction of a foundation you know can truly build upon in a new way
