JUST A MOMENT: MORE THAN A CRACK
Have you ever noticed a little flower growing out of a crack in the cement?
Or, even more amazing, one somehow growing right out of a stone wall?
And you wonder: How is that even possible?
There’s no garden.
No rich soil.
No one planted it.
Just a crack.
And yet… something beautiful found a way to grow.
Maybe we’re a little like that.
We all have cracks—mistakes, disappointments, struggles, scars, things we wish we could change.
But perhaps those cracks don’t always prevent something good from growing.
Sometimes the best in us grows out of the worst we’ve experienced.
Our pain can make us more compassionate.
Our struggles can make us more patient.
Our failures can make us kinder to someone else’s.
So the next time you see a little flower growing where it shouldn’t be able to grow, stop for just a moment.
It might be reminding you:
You don’t have to be perfect for something beautiful to grow from you.
Sometimes, all it needs…
is a crack. . .
